Troops
You have an unlimited number of troops that will be at the highest level you have. If you are defeated in a battle instead of troops being injured the heroes that were defeated will be unavailable for a few minutes while they recover. You can't speed this up.

Free Teleports
You will have a free teleport at the start of the event and this is recharged for free over time. Your troops will automatically teleport with you when you use it so you don't need to recall them first.

Buildings
Mines will be scattered around the battle field from level 1 to 3. Level 1 mines will be closest to the edge of the map and level 3 closest to the centre. At the very centre of the map is a giant smelter.

Mercaneries & Tech
Around the map there Mercaneries will constantly spawn for you to kill.
Killing these soldier will earn you XP which you can spend to upgrade your tech.
The tech is ONLY available for that session of the event.
There are 5 levels to the tech tree and you can only select 1 tech from each level.
The last level will give you a power you can activate which recharges over time.

Kill Mercaneries
Killing mecenaries and unlocking certain skills in the tech tree will gain you Orichalcum

Occupy Mines, Occupy Them First & Gather The Spilled Loot
Send your troops out to occupy mines. When someone does this for the first time in a mine it will drop 3 loot bundles. You will have 1 bonus queue where you can send a troop out to grab these bundles which are worth a lot of points. Once a mine has been emptied your troops will return and you will find a fresh mine usually appears nearby.

Use Veins
At certain points during the event you will see a warning appear about veins showing up. Look out for these bulges in the ground that will turn into small mountains. You can gather at these like at mines but you will gather a lot quicker. You will drain these fast so get ready for troops returning.

Occupy The Centre
23 Minutes after the start of the event the centre smelter will open. Fight other players to gain control and occupy the centre for bonus points at the end of the match.

Location Location Location
At the start of the match you will have 3 minutes to look around the battlefield. Look for a location that doesn't have higher level players too close so you avoid competing for resources. Move around as much as you need to and don't over reach. Sitting with a few low level mines you can keep is better than competing and losing a higher level mine.

Attack Mercanaries
Start the match by using every queue you can to attack mercanaries. You should only start occupying mines if there are none within easy reach.

Use Your Tech
By defeating mercanries you will unlock your tech skills quickly. Unlock them as soon as you can and remember that the last power you need to periodically manually activate. If you aren't sure what tech to pick then a good starting strategy is Right, Right, Left, Left, Right

Loot Mines
Keep a look out for mines being taken over and send your bonus troop to loot everything you can. You don't need to be the one who took the mine to claim that bonus loot.

Gather From Veins
When the warning about veins appears start looking for the small blue bulges that will erupt into mountains. Recall all your troops and focus on these.

Gather At Mines
Generally you only gather at mines when you have no veins and you've upgraded your tech so this will be just before and just after the 2 vein eruptions.

Occupy The Centre
If you are a higher level player you may want to try and occupy the centre for some time. But remember this will use up one of your queues that could be gathering points so only attack if you feel confident.
